The Lyon International Forum of EYP France will gather over 100 participants from across Europe in a digital environment. The academic theme of the session is “Euroregion and European cooperation” a fitting theme for a session that was to take place in Lyon, a city included in the Auvergne-Rhône- Alpes region, a relevant example of European cooperation.
The theme of the forum deals with many current issues facing the Alpine regions and various other regions in Europe such as tourism, health, agriculture and digital industries.

The session has many core values such as sustainability. We believe it is essential that the event is environmentally friendly, we also hope to promote eco-friendly actions and educate participants on their role in protecting the environment throughout the session.
It is also important for Lyon to act as an inclusive environment for all participants, we strive to ensure all participants feel comfortable expressing their cultural identity, their vision for the future of Europe and their political opinions. Therefore the official team will be actively involved in the implementation of a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.

There are 3 primary elements to the session:
TEAMBUILDING
This part of the session focuses on developing communication and group dynamics among the delegates in a committee. Under the direction of an experienced and trained young chairperson, each committee engages in a variety of online activities together.
COMMITTEE WORK
This is the main working part of the session, in which each committee concerns themselves with their assigned relevant topic. The delegates brainstorm and debate their issue, eventually coming to compromises and forming a joint opinion and vision to deal with the problem put in front of them. Their solutions are delivered in the form of Resolutions, a booklet outlining the issues they identified within the topic and solutions to said issues.
GENERAL ASSEMBLY
This element of the session aims to simulate the workings of the European Parliament. All committees gather and following the procedures of the European Parliament present their resolutions to the assembly.
